Itinerary

Upon arrival at Phnom Penh international airport, you will welcome and transfer to hotel for check-in. Afternoon start a city tour of some major sights of Phnom Penh. You will visit the National Museum, in which there is an attractive collection of ancient Khmer art: The sandstone sculptures dating from both the Angkorean and pre-Angkorean eras. Then, continue to visit Royal Palace, the sacred Silver Pagoda, which is well known for its 5000 silver tiled floor. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

DAY 2: PHNOM PENH – SIEM REAP BY BUS (B/-/-)

After breakfast, you will be transferred by bus (no guide) to Siem Reap on 314km road passing through three provinces: Kandal, Kampong Cham and Kampong Thom. On arrival at Siem Reap in late afternoon, check-in and relax at the hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 3: ANGKOR WAT – TA PHROHM – ANGKOR THOM (B/-/-)

Morning, visit to Angkor wat, the most balanced, the most harmonious, and the most perfect Khmer temple. It shows Khmer art, which reached the height of it glory in the 12th century. The temple was built by king Suryavrman II and dedicated to god Vishnu. Then, continue to visit an amazing view of Ta Promh temple. Afternoon, visit south gate of Angkor Thom with two rows of its huge statues of demons and gods depicting the churning of the ocean of milk arranged on both sides of stone bridge and Bayon temple, a forest of heads. Then, visit terrace of elephant, which used to be a base for the king’s grand audience hall; Terrace of Leper king supposed that it was a terrace housed the royal crematory. Climb Bakheng hill to have bird’s-eye view of sunset, Angkor Wat and western Baray. Overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 4: FLOATING VILLAGE – DEPARTURE (B/-/-)

After breakfast, we make our trip on Tonle Sap lake to floating village of Kampong Pluk where you can see the flooded forest alongside another–worldly village built on stilts. Kampong Phluk's economy is, as one might expect, based in fishing, primary in shrimp harvesting. Return back to town. Relax until transfer to Seim Reap international airport for departure. End of service.
